Description
Santa Christina Merlot Santa Christina Merlot is carefully made from selected grapes from vineyards in the Central Valley of Chile. Tasting notes: The wine has a large, young and fruity bouquet, slightly spicy and with a touch of blueberry. Santa Christina Merlot is medium-bodied and has a soft, round taste with notes of dark berries. Climate: Mediterranean climate with a large difference between day and night temperatures due to the location close to the Pacific Ocean (80 km) and the Andes Mountains (60 km). The Requingua winery receives good amounts of wind from the south in the afternoon during the summer months, which helps prevent the temperature from rising too much in the summer. Production: The grapes are handpicked at the end of April. Recommended for: Poultry such as turkey or for pork and lamb and for mild cheeses.
