Description
This dark rum from Guyana is what you understand by "real rum". It is full of character, but is rounded super with plenty of sweetness that comes from the dark sugarcane. The balance is unique, and at this age, El Dorado rum is hard to beat. From the former British Guiana comes this rum, which used to be part of the navy's rum. International Spirit Challenges Winning rum, it took 1st prize in 1992, 1993, 1997 and 2000. El Dorado rum overall was named "Best Spirit of the Year 2001" in Chicago by the International Review of Spirits. Last but not least, best premium rum in 2003
