Description
Vinification: The wines are cultivated in the classic Lenz-Moser trellis system with an average yield of 8,000 kilos per hectare. The grapes for this wine are handpicked at the beginning of October. After temperature-controlled fermentation, the wine matures in stainless steel tanks. Tasting notes: Clear yellow-green colour. In the nose, the wine offers spicy notes, as well as fruit and light smoky notes. There are also fruity notes with hints of passion fruit, apples and quince. The taste is acidic and has a fine minerality. A very typical, subtle and exciting Federspiel made on Grüner Veltliner. Serving suggestion: Serve chilled at 9 degrees. Drink it now or within 2-3 years. Perfect as an accompaniment to light fish dishes, soups, poultry, or a wiener schnitzel.
