Powerful and interesting

Balestino is a full-bodied and powerful wine with a beautiful dark color. The scent is dense

of fruit with a light and interesting mineral edge. You can feel it in the taste

cherries, tomatoes and plums and the aftertaste is mild and soft with a

perfect balance between acid, sweetness and fruit. A great exponent of Spanish

wine.

Balestino is an obvious companion for tapas, intense stews, game and medium

strong cheeses. Serving temperature: 16-18°C.

Manufacturing:

Balestino is made 100% from the small, thick-skinned Tempranillo grape, which is the

dominant grape in the large Spanish areas of La Mancha, Rioja and Ribera

del Duero. The grapes are harvested fully ripe in September and October, and

immediately afterwards brought to the winery. On arrival, the grapes are lightly pressed before they

undergoes a controlled fermentation at 26-28 degrees over 7-9 days in large

stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine rests in steel tanks before it

bottled and released to the market.

About the Manufacturer:

Balestino produces traditional Spanish wines with power and elegance.

Balestino's wines are proud ambassadors of Spanish wine.
